Everything you need to know about hiring with Maazi.

Getting Started

Sign up for an account, complete a quick onboarding (company name, website, and optional details), then describe the role you want to fill. You can type a title and a few details, or use the AI copilot to generate everything from a conversation. AI creates a full screening journey — questions, rubrics, scoring criteria, and time estimates — in seconds. Review, edit if you like, and publish.

No. You can create an account and explore the platform without entering payment details. You’ll need an active subscription to publish roles and start receiving candidates.

About 5 minutes. Describe what you’re looking for and AI generates a tailored screening journey. You can edit any part — stages, questions, rubrics, scoring criteria — or publish as-is.

Yes. We have a library of 440+ role templates spanning common positions across industries. Use a template as your starting point and customize it, or create a role from scratch with the AI copilot.

The Maazi AI Agent

The Maazi AI agent is a chat-first copilot that acts as your primary interface for everything on the platform. Think of it as a recruiter you can talk to in plain language — it creates roles, generates screening journeys, scores candidates, schedules interviews, sends communications, and surfaces insights. You talk, it does.

Almost everything: create and edit roles, generate and customize screening journeys, review candidate scores and summaries, move candidates through your pipeline, send status updates and rejections with personalized feedback, schedule interviews, draft social posts for job promotion, and pull analytics. It orchestrates the entire hiring process from a single conversation.

Yes. The agent monitors your hiring activity and surfaces alerts without being asked — for example, “5 candidates have been waiting for review for 4 days” or “Stage 2 has a higher-than-expected drop-off rate.” It also drafts follow-up messages and suggests next actions so nothing falls through the cracks.

No. Visual dashboards are always available alongside the chat. You can manage your pipeline with a Kanban board, review candidates in detail views, edit journeys in a visual builder, and access analytics dashboards. The AI agent and visual interfaces work together — use whichever feels natural for the task at hand.

How It Works

A screening journey is the set of stages a candidate completes when they apply through Maazi. It replaces resumes and recruiter phone screens with structured, role-specific tasks. Journeys can include up to five different stage types: text questions, video responses, code challenges, file uploads, and multiple choice. AI generates the journey — including scoring rubrics for each stage — based on your role description.

Every candidate response is evaluated against the rubrics defined for each stage. Scores are on a 1–5 scale per criterion, with written reasoning explaining each score. Per-stage scores are weighted into an overall candidate score (0–100). Candidates are then ranked automatically. You can review the reasoning behind any score and override it with your own assessment.

Candidates appear in your pipeline, ranked by AI score. You can review their responses, per-stage scores, and AI-generated summaries. From there, move candidates through stages — New, In Review, Shortlisted, Rejected, or Hired. Schedule interviews with shortlisted candidates. Rejected candidates automatically receive personalized feedback with strengths and development recommendations.

You share a single link — it works anywhere: LinkedIn, email, WhatsApp, job boards, Slack. Candidates click the link, enter basic contact details (name and email), and start the screening journey. No account creation, no resume upload required. Active roles are also automatically listed on the Maazi public job board and structured for Google for Jobs discovery.

For Candidates

No. Candidates don’t need to create an account or upload a resume. They access the screening journey through a direct link, enter their name and email, and start completing stages immediately.

Candidates can save their progress and resume later using a magic link and one-time code sent to their email. Responses are auto-saved as they type, so they can pick up right where they left off.

Yes — this is our zero ghosting guarantee. Every single candidate who submits an application receives a decision. Rejections include personalized, constructive feedback highlighting strengths and development recommendations. Automatic status updates are sent throughout the review process so candidates are never left wondering.

Most journeys take between 5 and 20 minutes, depending on the role and the stages configured. We design journeys to be short and focused — no multi-hour take-home assignments, no 5-round interview gauntlets.

For Employers & Teams

Your company workspace supports multiple team roles: Owners and Admins have full access, Reviewers can score candidates independently, and Viewers have read-only access. Reviewer scores are hidden from each other until submission, preventing anchoring bias. You can invite team members by email and manage permissions from company settings.

Yes. Schedule interviews with candidates directly from the pipeline. Candidates receive an email with a link to select their available time slots (minimum 3 across 2+ days). Both parties get calendar exports and email confirmations. Rescheduling is handled automatically.

Every active role you create is automatically listed on the public Maazi job board at maazi.io/jobs — a cross-company job board where candidates can discover and apply to roles. Roles are also structured with schema markup for Google for Jobs discovery. Free candidate sourcing, built into your subscription.

Candidates flow through five stages: New (just submitted), In Review (being evaluated), Shortlisted (top candidates you want to meet), Rejected (with personalized feedback sent automatically), and Hired. You can move candidates between stages individually or take batch actions like rejecting everyone below a certain score.

AI & Fairness

Every candidate is evaluated against the same rubric with the same standards. There’s no resume screening, which eliminates bias from names, schools, or employment gaps. AI scores are per-criterion with written reasoning, so every decision is explainable and auditable. Team reviewers score independently with anti-anchoring measures — they can’t see each other’s scores until they submit their own.

Yes. Every AI score includes per-criterion breakdowns (1–5 scale) with written justification explaining the reasoning. You can review exactly why a candidate received a given score, and override it with your own assessment and reason if you disagree.

No. AI handles the time-consuming work — generating journeys, scoring responses, ranking candidates, and communicating with applicants. But you make every final decision: you review scores and reasoning, you choose who to shortlist, you conduct the final interviews, and you decide who to hire.

Five stage types: text responses (written answers), video responses (recorded answers with text/audio alternatives), code challenges (programming tasks), file uploads (portfolios, work samples), and multiple choice (knowledge checks). You can combine any of these into a single journey tailored to the role.

Security & Privacy

Maazi uses industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest. Authentication is handled through enterprise-grade identity infrastructure supporting single sign-on (SSO) and email/password login. Role-based access controls ensure team members only see what their permissions allow.

Only team members within your company workspace can see your candidates. Access is controlled by role: Owners and Admins have full access, Reviewers can see and score candidates on roles they’re assigned to, and Viewers have read-only access. Candidate data is never shared across companies.

If you need to handle a data deletion request, contact our support team. We take data privacy seriously and will work with you to fulfill any applicable data protection requirements.

Billing & Plans

Maazi offers three plans: Starter ($499/mo, up to 5 active roles), Growth ($999/mo, up to 15 active roles with analytics and priority support), and Concierge (a fully managed hiring service with custom pricing). All plans include unlimited seats — no per-user fees. Both Starter and Growth are available with monthly or annual billing (save 10% on annual). Visit our pricing page for detailed comparisons.

Your plan limits how many roles can be open at the same time, not how many you create over time. When you fill a role and close it, that slot opens up for a new one. Starter allows 5 active roles, Growth allows 15. There’s no limit on total hires.

Each plan has a fixed active role limit — Starter allows up to 5 active roles, Growth allows up to 15. Only roles with Active or Paused status count toward your limit. Drafts are free and don’t count. Closed and Archived roles don’t count either — when you close a role, that slot opens up immediately. All plans include unlimited team seats.

You’ll be prompted to upgrade before creating a new one. You’ll never lose access to existing candidates or data.

Maazi uses flat monthly pricing — $499/mo for Starter, $999/mo for Growth. You can choose monthly or annual billing (save 10% with annual). Payments are managed through Paddle. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time, and changes are prorated automatically.

Yes, at any time. Moving from monthly to annual gives you a prorated credit for the remainder of your current billing cycle.

Subscribe when you need to hire, cancel when you’re done. No lock-in, no penalties. Your data stays when you come back.

Our team runs the entire hiring process for you using the Maazi platform — role setup, journey design, candidate review, communication, and scheduling. You show up for the final interviews and make the hire. Pricing is per engagement. Reach out and we’ll scope it together.
